The desire of the Women’s Ministry Team at gracespring is to create the backdrop for women to grow in relationship with Christ and one another. We love seeing lives changed through the intervening power of the Holy Spirit. We love seeing women in authentic grace-filled relationships that disciple and encourage across generations. We have a spot for you amongst this imperfect but growing Christ-centered community. Please review all the opportunities we have available and plan to join us and get connected! We look forward to getting to know you!

Mothers of Preschoolers (Pregnant through Kindergarten)
We meet the 2nd & 4th Thursdays between September and May from 9:30-11:30am at gracespring Bible Church. Join us as Moms meet separately from their children to provide opportunities for relaxation, learning, discussions and creative activities. We would love to have you come check us out. Your first meeting is free. If you decide to register there is a $31.95 MOPS International registration fee that goes directly to MOPS international. In addition to the MOPS International fee our local chapter collects dues in September to cover our local expenses of childcare, brunch supplies, speaker fees, and crafts supplies. Our local dues are determined at the beginning of each semester. We also have scholarships available as we don’t want money to keep anyone from being able to enjoy the MOPS experience. Please contact our Finance Team Leader, Ashley Hiestand, for information regarding scholarships at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration for our 2019-2020 season is now closed, and we are no longer able to accept new members. Please email our MOPS Coordinators at email@example.com with any questions.Visit the gracespring MOPS page
Women’s Worship & Prayer Night
The 4th Friday of the month
If you’ve joined us for one of our recent retreats, you KNOW the powerful times of praise and worship we have enjoyed together as women. The convergence of many voices lifted in praise is a beautiful sound and a “sweet aroma” to the Lord. Join us the 4th Friday of each month at gracespring (in the gsKidz Theater) as we lift high the name of Jesus and spend time in prayer together.Update on Women’s Worship Night & COVID-19

Summer Book Clubs
What is the Lord calling you to this summer?
It’s truly a season of barbecues, beaches, family time and travel but in can also be a time we lose spiritual muscle. So, this summer, we are inviting you to join forces with the women of Gracespring as we dig into “The Power of A Praying….” Series by Stormie Omartian and build some muscle together! The Power of a Praying Wife, Mother, Woman, etc. work well for summer because each week is “free standing” allowing women to drop in when their schedule allows. We will provide just 4-6 questions to start the conversations for each week’s prayers (Each book has about 8-9 weeks of prayers if done daily). They are also easy to invite friends and neighbors to because they don’t delve into deep theological concepts but rather stay focused on praying for those we love and taking time to discuss the issues we face as women.Visit the Summer Book Club page

Women 50 years & older
No one should ever come to church and have the heaviness of loneliness or a sense of not belonging. Sister, if you are 50+ years old, we have a place at the table for you. We meet the second Saturday of every month at 9:00 am at Michelle’s Restaurant, 4010 Gull Road, Kalamazoo. (next to “Frosty Boy”)
“Seasoned Sisters” isn’t just about eating breakfast. We are a community group… we are the church… we are the hands and feet of Jesus… we are the hope and encouragement… whatever your need, trial, or journey. With the combined years of experience and wisdom, you will find a fellow traveler. You do not have to walk your road alone. We are here to welcome you and fold you into the body of sisters. Over the years we, as a group of seasoned ladies, have provided and served in several ways, including a mission project that has provided clean water for life for hundreds of people in five different countries. Come and be a part of this dynamic group of “Seasoned Sisters!” You can contact Sandy Skartsiaris atfor information.
Scrapbooking & Crafts
Are you crafty or just enjoy time with scissors and pictures? Come and bring your gear and paper crafting projects to join us for fun and fellowship right here at the church. These events are on specific weekends throughout the year, on Friday and Saturday 9am – 4pm at gracespring Bible Church.
