John and Mary have been married for over 50 years, and have 3 beautiful daughters and 8 wonderful grandchildren. They have been attending gracespring since moving to Kalamazoo 22 years ago. John and Mary both strongly believe in serving Christ through serving His church. They served together for many years as Small Group coaches as well as in the Soaking Prayer ministry. John also served for 10 years as Elder, while Mary edited the weekly church prayer sheet for 7 years. John currently serves gracespring through the Safety and the Tech teams. Mary is a group leader in Women's Bible Studies. They both also believe that it is important to serve in the greater community as well. John has been volunteering for 8 years at Alternatives of Kalamazoo, and Mary has been a Direct Response Servant at Kalamazoo Deacons Conference for almost 15 years. John and Mary are both excited to see what God has in store for gracespring in the coming years.
