Scott has lived in Michigan his entire life, growing up in Portage, attending Spring Arbor University and then living in Parchment and Richland since college. Scott and his wife Sara have been married for 30 years and have three adult children, Kylie, is married to Wyatt Whitman, Kaden is married to Beka, and their youngest son Tray. Scott would describe himself first and foremost as a Christ-follower. In addition to that central part of who he is, he would describe myself as an outgoing, hard-working, family man who loves the outdoors, athletics, reading. Scott is also highly focused on developing leaders and investing in the next generation. He was a teacher and coach at Gull Lake High School for 11 years, an interim Youth Pastor at gracespring for 1 year, and he has served on staff at Kalamazoo Youth For Christ for the past 19 years.
