Saturday October 16, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm, Gracespring Bible Church
Cost: $20 per person
We are thrilled to invite YOU to join us for our first-in-a-long-time, live-and-in-person, church-wide women’s conference, DEAR YOUNGER ME!
God, throughout scripture, instructs us to “remember” and to “tell”. On October 16, from 8:30 – 3:00 pm we are excited to be gathering together to remember those things GOD had done in our lives, in your lives and in the lives of some famous female characters of the Bible, so that we can tell those stories and share the dear younger me messages that God is beautifully weaving through them all!
In Women’s Ministry, we are framing those objectives with the simple phrase: Dear Younger Me
Dear younger Me is simply,
* filled with the wisdom of experience,
*filtered through the lens of God’s Truth and goodness
*shared with someone who needs to hear it.
To do this well, you need to know God’s goodness by knowing him and knowing his word (please join us for the church-wide Journey through the Bible!). It means you need to be thinking about the stories you can share and how HE intersects each of those stories (See Melanie’s teaching from our Celebrate you Story conference on the gsWOMEN’s facebook page). It means you need to be in relationships both with friends you need and friends who need you (so consider plugging into a summer book club and inviting friends to join you to our events and opportunities). It means you need to share those stories because that’s your real time to shine – by doing so you get to bless, encourage, admonish, give hope, build faith of another and share your faith simply by sharing what God has done for YOU. Throughout the year we are going to share wisdom, experience and stories; yours, ours, women of the Bibles, and in doing so we are going to bless the socks of one other and give so much Glory to God. So that’s it. That’s Dear Younger Me. We can do this – and it will be amazing! Join us on this beautiful 2021 journey of Dear Younger Me!
About Terri Girardi:
A wife, mother, and grandmother, Terri and husband, Walt, will celebrate their 45th anniversary in December. They’ve been part of the gracespring history and family since 1996 and were privileged to be part of building each worship center, making lifelong friendships, and growing their ministries along this special community. Drawing upon more than 35 years of Bible study leadership and speaking ministry experience, Terri brings a refreshing approach to learning more about God’s Word in a passionate and high energy atmosphere. Her goal is to inspire others to dig deeply into scripture for themselves and to build confidence to share what they learn with others. She founded her current women’s bible study, Original Roots, several years ago and is thrilled to help reveal the original intent of the Bible so others can be challenged to understand more clearly the Bible as a whole! In addition to writing each customized study, as an author she has also written for Country Magazine, Covenant Home Altar, and was part of the compilation book, “Amazing Faith.” Her testimony is one of hope in the midst of trials and tragedy as she continues to grow in faith since that miraculous evening when she gave her life to Christ in 1983.
*More information on specific breakout topics and speakers will be available in August.
*Scholarships may be available if needed. Please contact us if you need assistance to cover your ticket cost.
*We know that things come up and change is inevitable. If for some reason you are unable to attend, we will do our best to resell your ticket but ask that you first consider who you might bless with it. After October 1st, no refunds will be possible due to financial commitments.

We have faced many difficult situations this past year: a pandemic, loss of someone near to us, broken relationships, isolation, depression and weariness. Right here, right now, God desires each and every one of us to pursue Him, to trust Him and to stand firm in Him in the midst of adversity, showing us what He can accomplish in each of us despite our human imperfections.
Join us as we look deeper into the life of Elijah, a man of God, who faced difficult choices of obedience that kept him anchored, sharpened his faith, and broadened his impact. Do you desire stronger faith, courage, boldness, a prayer life that pushes back the darkness, character that possesses an unflinching backbone, a holy conviction that doesn’t bow to popular opinion, to brim over with the fullness of God’s Spirit and power, to be brave enough to speak truth with love and grace, to inspire others’ allegiance to the one true God, and to leave behind a lasting impact on future generations? Then please prayerfully consider joining us as we encourage one another on our faith journey. Register online today!
At MOPS we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. Our acronym stands for “Moms of Preschoolers”. We meet the 2nd & 4th Thursdays between September and May from 9:30am-11:30am at gracespring Bible Church. Our pregnant through kindergarten mommas enjoy relaxation, learning, discussions, and creative activities. If you would like to join us, there is a $31.95 MOPS International registration fee that goes directly to MOPS international. In addition to the MOPS International fee our local chapter collects dues in September and January to cover our local expenses of food supplies, speaker fees, child programming, and crafts supplies. Our local dues are determined at the beginning of each semester. We also have scholarships available as we don’t want money to keep anyone from being able to enjoy the MOPS experience. Please contact our Finance Coordinator, Monica Price, for information regarding scholarships at email@example.com.
Registration for our 2021-2022 season is now OPEN. You can reach our MOPS Coordinators at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
