Aired:

We are looking at the summer of 2022, assessing our rhythms, and looking to address areas where we made need to press the 'pause' button. Where we need to stop and say, "Jesus, I need you in this space." This podcast is a call to the heart of our people to say "how can we be more intentional?" It's through rhythms and practices that we want to encourage you to follow Jesus's heart in a way you haven't before. And ultimately to live a more intentional and Christ-filled life.

Moments To Remember

  • “He promises us that this inheritance from Him is an anchor for the soul.” -Kenneth Price
  • “Every day I try to wear the name of ‘beloved’ like it fits.” -Kristy Lester
  • "I think that being anchored in Christ is hands down being sure of and secure in what Christ says about me, no matter who speaks into my life, no matter what comes my way, and no matter what I feel." -Kristy Lester
  • "A disciple meant 'an apprentice', 'a learner'. The chief end of the disciple was to be with their rabbi, to be like their rabbi, and to do what their rabbi did. ...As a learner, as an apprentice, there are no experts, we are all just learning." -Kenneth Price
  • "Proximity to [Him] is what is going to change your heart. It isn't in any amount of what you can do, just stick close. Bind your heart to me." -Kenneth Price

Resources

scripture

  • "When God made his promise to Abraham, he backed it all the way, putting his own reputation on the line. He said, “I promise that I’ll bless you with everything I have—bless and bless and bless!” Abraham stuck it out and got everything that had been promised to him. When people make promises, they guarantee them by appeal to some authority above them so that if there is any question that they’ll make good on the promise, the authority will back them up. When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee—God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable. We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek." -Hebrews 6:17-20 MSG)
  • "Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony." -Colossians 3:12-14
  • "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind." -James 1:5-6
  • "Jesus is a safe place to try to fail." -Kenneth Price
